The Playstation 3 is set to be released to the public on the 23rd of March in Australia. While some welcome this new console, others have been shunning this console as it is not worth the price and has been produced by a faceless corporation who have no inspiration of their own. This is just one in many opinions of the vastly delayed console that seems to be just as good as an XBox 360. In retrospect the choices for next gen gaming consoles stand at PS3, X360 and Nintendo Wii. The PS3 Offers Blueray technology which has been neglected in the Nintendo Wii and the vastly popular XBox 360 whereas has been included in the PS3. However, the XBox 360 offers a wide variety of games and opportunities in the XBox Live Marketplace. The Nintendo Wii is good as far as a childrens console goes as the Nintendo Wii may have the potential to be a high class video gaming console for teenagers and up, although, many to all of the games produced for nintendo seem to be aimed at the younger age group of gamers.

 

There is no honest denying that the Playstation 3 will be enjoyable to play. However, the facts stand that you can have a gaming experience equal to or greater than the quality of the experience of the Playstation 3 and the XBox 360 is cheaper and has a wide array of games aimed at serious gamers, not beginner gamers aged 4 to 10.
